Experimental Soft Matter Physics

Research assistant at Squishlab assisting in the research of changing state of “soft” matter. Studied the behavior of disordered or amorphous systems of granular materials when they are compressed or sheared. Applied and received funding from NSF for 3 years; from 2022-2025.

Assisting in setting up and taking down Freshman and Sophomore Laboritory Experiments.

Internship

I studied the practical applications of Mechanical Vibration, and then I assembled a water-cooling system and attached it to a spiral conveyor.

Internship

I learned how sound could be electronically distorted and changed using ICs, diodes and transistors and then assisted in building a "Fuzz" and a "Distortion-Overdrive" pedal with my own custom graphics.
